RightPath IAS ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our Android application RightPath IAS (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Google Account (Sign-In): When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo provided by Google. We do not collect your Google password.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App (e.g., which screens are visited, how long content is read). This data is anonymised and aggregated.
Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash logs and diagnostic data when the App encounters an error. This helps us fix bugs and improve stability.
Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your device's Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, and general location to serve personalised or contextual ads. Please see Google's Privacy Policy for full details.

2.3 Information Stored Locally On Your Device

Bookmarks: Articles you bookmark are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This data is not uploaded to our servers.
App Preferences: Settings such as theme mode are stored locally on your device.

Data Retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section inside the App, which will permanently remove your data from our systems.
Analytics and crash data: Retained for up to 14 months by Firebase, as per Google's data retention policy.
Local data (bookmarks): Stored only on your device. Uninstalling the App will delete all locally stored data.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Your authentication is handled securely by Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption. We do not store passwords or payment information.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
